In Rise of Kingdoms, Pericles is an epic infantry commander. He has the Infantry, Garrison, and Support talent trees.

Should you invest in Pericles?

Pericles is a good epic hero that all new players should max out. The great thing about him is that he is an epic hero, so you will have no trouble maxing him out. However, it is important to note that Pericles is more of a garrison commander than a commander you would use for field fighting.

If you are a new player, we recommend investing in him. He will perform well in protecting your city on new servers. However, as you progress through the game, you should consider replacing him with stronger garrison commanders.

If you are an experienced player, you can max Pericles out, but you will most likely not use him. There are far better commanders available for both garrisoning and field fighting. Pericles is best suited for new players who are just starting in new kingdoms.

If you are on an old server, you should not use Pericles. It is not worth it.

When it comes to pairings for Pericles, you can use any infantry commander that you have if you are a new player. If you are planning to use Pericles as a garrison, then use any commander that has a garrison talent tree.

It is best to avoid getting attacked as a new player, your main focus is to build your city and power, not lose your troops early on. If you do not have any legendary garrison commanders, then feel free to use Sun Tzu. He is the best epic hero in the game.

The commander’s troop gains a shield (Damage Factor 700) for 3 seconds. The shield also increases March Speed of their infantry units by 20%.

Battlefield Orator

Infantry units led by this commander gain 10% increased Attack and increased Defense.
