In Rise of Kingdoms, Vercingetorix is a legendary Infantry commander. He has the Leadership, Versatility, and Support talent trees.

Should you invest in Vercingetorix?

Vercingetorix is a leadership commander. He is designed more for buffing your other troops and commanders, which is great. The problem is that most free-to-play players do not have the best commanders and marches that can fully benefit from Vercingetorix.

So, if you are still collecting and trying to build the best cavalry, infantry, or archer commanders, you should not go for Vercingetorix. He is mainly used to boost already strong commanders. If you already have top-tier marches, then Vercingetorix is worth getting because he can give you an extra edge. Otherwise, you should skip him.

Solid buff kit for allies: Buffs nearby allies’ attack (30%) — works on a frequent active skill cycle. Grants shields regularly: 10% chance per basic attack to shield the lowest-health nearby friendly/allied troop (including himself) for 3 seconds. When a shield he granted breaks: troop gains 100 rage + 10% more normal damage.

Vercingetorix Pairings

King Arthur Icon 1Arthur + Vercingetorix: Arthur’s active skill gets a 40% damage boost from Vercingetorix’s pre-active buff window. Vercingetorix buffs allies’ attack by 30% — direct benefit to whatever else is on the field. Butterfly Effect means Arthur’s combo attacks (with proper combo armaments) trigger Vercingetorix’s basic-attack-based passives more often.

Vercingetorix + Philip icon 1Philip: Vercingetorix buffs attack → triggers Civilized rage. Philip’s active reduces damage taken/increases damage dealt → also triggers Civilized rage.
