Should you invest in Bai Qi?
Bai Qi is an extremely strong infantry commander in Rise of Kingdoms. He has strong AOE skill damage and a lot of additional stats. More he is fighting in, the stronger he is. So if you are an infantry player, no matter free to play or pay to win, you should get Bai Qi. He is currently one of the strongest infantry commanders, so you cannot go wrong with him. On top of that, you can pair him with warriors commanders.
- High AoE Smite – Hits up to 5 targets with 1,240 damage plus a debuff. Ideal for open field.
- Scaling Damage – Malice stacks bonus damage (300 DF), works well with rage cycling.
- Big Stat Boosts – +40% Attack, +10% Health, +20% March Speed for offense and mobility.
- Power Spikes – Gains 60–100% extra damage and 30–50% damage reduction at low troop HP.
- Top Synergy with Liu Che – Strong AoE combo with layered debuffs and rage stacking.
- Future-Proof – Malice scaling keeps him strong in late KVKs and shifting metas.

Bai Qi Pairings
Liu Che
Bai Qi and Liu Che are one of the strongest infantry pairings in Rise of Kingdoms. Together they have high smite AOE damage, AOE slow, various debuffs, and rage generation. You will use this pairing a lot in big field fights where you can hit a lot of targets at the same time.
Philip
If you do not have Liu Che, then you can pair Bai Qi with Philip. This pairing is great because they will have a lot of buffs and synergy.
