Should you invest in Subutai?
Subutai is a cavalry commander that has incredibly high single-target damage and buffs that work extremely well for rallying. A lot of people are wondering if they should invest in Subutai. It depends on what your role is in Rise of Kingdoms.
If you are a player who rallies objectives, then 100% get him. If you are a player who fights on the open field, then you can skip him. There are other commanders that are better for the open field than Subutai. Keep in mind that you also need to have a good pairing to use Subutai for rallying. So, if you are a free-to-play player, it is definitely not worth getting him.
Pros and Cons
- Massive Rally Damage: Exceptional for rallying cities and strongholds.

Subutai Pairings
Bertrand
Bertrand’s skills boost normal attack damage and deal consistent damage, which works great with Subutai’s combo mechanics. Together, they work extremely well for rallying and countering swarms of enemies.
Arthur
If you do not have Bertrand, then you can pair Arthur with Subutai. Arthur’s rage control will ensure that Subutai’s skills trigger more often. This is important because Subutai’s skills deal an incredible amount of damage.
