In Rise of Kingdoms, Sargon the Great is a legendary infantry commander. He has the Infantry, Skill, and Versatility talent trees.

Should you invest in Sargon the Great?

Sargon the Great is a strong infantry commander, but that does not mean you should invest in him. The problem with Sargon the Great is that he doesn’t have an active skill that deals instant nuke damage to the target.

When his active skill is activated, you must attack the target continuously for 5 seconds to get the full effect, but we all know that can be difficult at times, especially during large fights. Additionally, the problem is that he does not have AOE damage skills, which are better suited for free-to-play players

At this time, we do not recommend investing in him. There are better commanders available that will give you greater value for your gems and gold sculptures. Only invest in him if you need an additional infantry commander or are planning to lead an infantry rally. You can check out the tier list to see which top-tier commanders you should prioritize.

Sargon the Great Pairings

The best pairings for Sargon the Great are other infantry commanders that can deal a huge amount of damage in a short time. So if you do not have them, do not invest your sculptures in Sargon the Great.

Guan-Yu iconGuan Yu: is a great commander to pair with Sargon the Great. They have great synergy, so they will be able to deal a lot of damage. Guan Yu has AOE damage, which is great because Sargon the Great does not have any. This pairing is great for fighting on open fields and rallying. Now you have to use Sargon the Great as a secondary commander because of Guan Yu’s talent tree and first skill.

Alexander-the-Great iconAlexander the Great: is also a great commander to pair with Sargon the Great, and the reason is that they will have huge survivability and bonus stats. They are great for field battles. As well, you can use Alexander talent tree so you do not waste your experience and gold stars leveling up Sargon the Great to max level, which can be quite expensive if you are free to play as a player.
