Artemisa is a legendary archer commander in Rise of Kingdoms with the Archer, Garrison, and Defense talent tree. Artemisa is a strange and unique commander in Rise Of Kingdoms. Artemisia’s first skill deals damage to 3 targets but it will also do self-damage. This is a big problem because in PVP you will fill up the hospital very fast.

Artemisia I Guide
Artemisia is a strange and unique commander in Rise Of Kingdoms. To see how well Artemisia is performing in ratings against other commanders visit the Rise of Kingdoms Tier List.
First Skill- Deals damage to 3 targets but it will also do self-damage. Now the damage factor is nice with the fourth skill, after a silence, she will have 2 seconds to do a bonus of 50% bonus damage. This is insane damage but also she will do a lot of self-damage.
Secondary skill- well this skill is nice because archers are week troops and Artemisia will do self-damage and she is archer commander so you need as much defense and health you can get.
Third skill- great skill against commanders like Attila and Takeda
Fourth skill- This skill is ok. It will silence you for 5 seconds. During 3 seconds you will not be able to use the first skill. After 3 second your first skill will get 50% more damage.
Now, why I as a small spender do not like Archers.
Archers are the weak troops. You will fill up your hospital very fast. Yes, they can do an insane amount of nuke damage but all players will focus you. That is where free to play or small spenders will always suffer. That is why my advice to free to play and small spenders are to avoid archers in general.
Avoid Artemisia if you are not a big spender or rally leader in AOO. Just go get cavalry or infantry commanders.
She will be great in AOO for a rally but for field fights not so much.
If you are ok with filling up your hospital then use Artemisia. Artemisia I is a great counter to Attila. Her skill Ally of Xerxes will disable normal attack for 1 second. Attila is a pure normal attack so this skill is great to counter him.
Artemisia I Pairings
There is not a lot of good rok pairings for Artemisia I
El Cid
El Cid and Artemisia are good counter for Attila because of disarming. Attila is pure basic attack and disarm will give him a hard time to do damage.
Yi Seong Gye
Yi Seong-Gye is the best commander to pair with Artemisia I- Skill damage will be insane. But they can be destroyed very fast if they are focused plus Artemisia will do self-damage.
Tomyris
Tomyris and Artemisia are good for field battels but maybe they are ok for a rally.
Hermann
Hermann Is great because it will do disarm and silence but also some rage generation for skill damage.

Lore
Artemisia I of Caria was a Greek queen of the ancient-Greek city-state of Halicarnassus and the nearby islands of KOS, Nisyros and Kalymnos, within the Achaemenid satrapy of Caria, in about 480 BC. She fought as an ally of Xerxes I King of Persia against the independent Greek city states during the second Persian invasion Greece. She personally commanded her contribution of five the naval battle of Artemisium and in the naval Battle of Slamis in 480 BC. She is mostly known through the writings of Herodotus, himself a native of Halicarnassus, who praises her courage and the respect in which Xerxes held her.
